Description
Rohde Frontloaders from the KE-S+ series comprises of six models with kiln volumes between 100 and 480 litres. The heating elements are mounted on support rods. 5-side heating provides even distribution of heat throughout every performance range.
The KE-S+ series was designed for demanding applications and use over many years in professional workshops. The 3-layer microporous insulation structure allows for maximum firing termperatures of 1350oC providing the best possible results.

Careful Sealing Of The Door
The seal between the door and the outer bricks is ensured by a flexible insulating cord. This insulating cord closes the high-quality polished sealing surfaces in the cooler area around the front row of bricks and reduces the escape of thermal energy and radiation.
Precise temperature measurement with the Type S thermocouple
The installed thermocouple (type S) is protected against damage and guarantees exact temperature measurement at all times.

The Ecotop range, utilises Kanthal A1 elements (which are widely regarded as the best quality elements available), ensuring unbeatable reliability and durability.
Connectivity With Mykiln App
Controllers work with ‘Mykiln App’. Watch and edit your kiln firings from the comfort of your armchair.
Safety Switch
The safety switch, which is installed on the door of the furnace, interrupts the circuit to the heating elements when the door is opened and thus prevents live components from being touched.

These kilns are available as single phase or 3-phase. In the UK the majority of homes have a single phase supply (the standard three wires: live, neutral and earth). 3-phase supplies (five wires) are usually only found in industrial or commercial settings, so please check which connection type you require before ordering. In either case this kiln will need to be connected by a qualified electrician.
CEE Plug & Cable Supply
The KE-S+ series kilns are available either as a single or three phase kiln. A qualified electrian is required to wire it in. to Please check your supply before purchasing.

Controllers & App
The new European ST 310 Stafford controller uses its simple firing graph to easily see what stage your firing is in. The ST 310 is a standard issue with a Rohde kiln but you can upgrade to the ST 411 for more program spaces and segments.
