Rohde Top Loader TE300MCC+

The solid ROHDE Toploaders from the MCC+ series can be used for a variety of applications ranging from glass processing at 800°C to manufacture of stoneware at 1280°C. Toploaders from this series are particularly suitable for use in public institutions such as schools and kindergartens, as well as for both artists and hobbyists. The wide temperature range allows maximum flexibility when it comes to artistic craftsmanship in the field of ceramics and glass. They combine state-of-the-art technology with high durability. The ROHDE TE-S series of kilns are designed to be expandable in size, so you can start with a smaller model and then grow to a larger size later. Designed to be deconstructed for easier installation when accrss is limited. The main cylinder with lid, base and legs can be separated to go through a narrow doorway (>550mm). This kiln is a quality professional kiln designed for those who are regularly firing to lower or mid temperatures with the occasional high firing.

Disassembly

The kiln can be disassembled easily into several parts for on-site delivery. The toploader’s design allows its individual parts to fit through doors with a width of 55 cm.

Extendability

The kiln volume of this toploader TE series can be increased by up to 50% by simply fitting or even retrofitting an additional heatable extension ring (ZWR). Mount the ring, connect the kiln to the mains supply and continue working with 50% more firing capacity.

Kilns with increasing volume potential:

• TE 75 MCC+ becomes the TE 110 MCC+
• TE 100 MCC+ becomes the TE 150 MCC+
• TE 130 MCC+ becomes the TE 190 MCC+
• TE 200 MCC+ becomes the TE 300 MCC+

Kanthal A1 Elements

The TE-S range, utilises Kanthal A1 elements (which are widely regarded as the best quality elements available), ensuring unbeatable reliability and durability.

Optional Lid Heating

The lid heating elements are mounted on high-quality support rods and are optimally fixed enabling free radiation of heat. This currently unique fixing of heating elements to the kiln lid prevents particles falling from the lid insulation and enables the use of the top furniture layer without restriction. The MCC+ series of kiln is available with lid heating. Note, it will need an additional 3kw.

Protected Thermocouple

Thermocouples and elements are fitted in a protected position, inset into the bricks.

Reversible Kiln Stand

The kiln stand can be turned upside-down. This allows the kiln to be used at two different working heights. The toploader can be adjusted to your individual needs and makes loading and unloading of the firing chamber much easier on the back.

New Gas Pressure Spring-Supported Opening Mechanism

The sturdy lid construction is supported by gas pressure springs that allow easy, effortless and safe opening of the lid.

Wall mounted component Box

With this model of kiln you have included a sturdy, lockable metal cabinet, giving you easy access to the the contactors, relays and other kiln components. The box will be 500mm x 500mm x 210mm connected by a 3m cable. (single phase only)

Integrated Safety cut-out switch

A door contact switch automatically isolates the heating elements inside the chamber from the power supply when the kiln lid is opened.
