Firing Range: 1200°C-1300°C
Superb, strong stoneware throwing body based on top quality porcelain china clay and ball clays with added flux for good 'ring'. Excellent domestic ware body suitable for large and small wares. Smooth textured but stands well and can be thrown quite thinly. Shows colour well.

"This clay is really good for throwing. Also a good price.
I do have unfortunately, a mini complaint - this is that lately any Potclays clay I have bought has been incredibly wet. Same applies to Super White. Annoying if you run classes like I do because it means re-processing each new bag of clay to get it dried our enough to use. Means a lor of physical effort which I'd prefer not to do.
Maybe Potclays are selling it soggy because it's heavier so can sell less clay for same price. Been happening for over a year so think I need to change brands. Annoying also because it's a good clay."
