A smooth buff body with a dark brown speckle, ideal for throwing, very forgiving.

A note regarding fleck variation: The fleck size/density in our flecked bodies is variable from batch to batch due to the nature of the raw material supplied to us. The user must sample/batch test in their own application before proceeding. We cannot accept any liability for fleck variations batch-to-batch which are outside of our control.

"Lovely clay to throw with, very forgiving. For cups and vases etc it speckles beautifully, revealing texture and interest under the glaze. It also leaves a gorgeous toast shade where the glaze stops. On platters and larger pieces the spots can look a like pinholes at a glance so if you’re looking for a seamless finish it might not be the right clay for that."

"I’m a little disappointed with the overall effect of this glaze. After lots of mixing before dipping I still get any speckles. On its own it’s very white and not the effect I was after. "
