Working Notes
For best results fire 1280°C with a 30 minute soak on a computerised controller.
We recommend 2-3 coats for full coverage.
Often, the cracks will develop only after cooling, somecoats, the crackle net is fully developed only after one week, only colorize afterwards. To do so, rub in strong black tea or china ink.
Different glazes from the same range can be layered to produce interesting and exciting results.
Health & Safety
Manufacturers Recommendations: Not Suitable for Dinnerware due to Surface Durability indicates the fired glaze surface may not be desirable to use a particular glaze for dinnerware even though it has passed the food safe testing process. Much of this is due to the fired glaze surface being impacted by contact with acidic food or liquids. Please note, dinnerware safety is not defined by cutlery scratches.
