Description
Firing Range: 1000°C-1280°C
The RAKU 5015 compound is a plastic, coarse, highly fireclayed building compound from the manufacturer Sibelco from Westerwald/D, which is ideal for Raku firing due to its high resistance to temperature changes. The clay body is stoneware and does not sinter due to the high proportion of fireclay. This body is ideal for all workpiece sizes.

"This is a really heavily grogged clay. Doesn't look it in the bag, but once working it's like throwing concrete. Be warned, it'll remove the skin from your hands!"
