"Contrary to the other reviewer, I found this clay a delight to throw with! But you do indeed have to skip wedging entirely and try to be unfussy on the wheel for the best effect. When the marbling comes through, it's has wonderful graduations between shades of tan, black, and the browner end of red. The way they blend feels almost like chromatic aberration. Any failures do go into their own recycle bucket and the resulting clay is uniformly brown, but still quite a pleasant, warm, rocky texture. Take a look at @burntmud.studio on Instagram for thrown examples."

"I was certainly disappointed with this clay when throwing with it. The colours are very subtle, & despite minimal wedging and fairly quick throwing, the result was a uniform sludge colour. Hand building works better. "
