Kaleidoscope Mayco Jungle Gem

Cone 06: Kaleidoscope is a transparent base glaze with red, orange, yellow, green, and blue crystals that melt/bloom.
Cone 6: Base glaze fades - crystals fade and melt. Enhanced mobility. Surface issues may occur.

Mayco's Jungle Gems are gloss glaze bases with pieces of glass frit that melts during the firing process. As the crystals bloom, they produce dramatic, colourful effects.

* Combine Jungle Gems with other Mayco Glazes for dramatic effect

* Not recommended for dinnerware due to surface characteristics

* Non-toxic

* Fires to cone 06 - 04 (999 - 1060C)

* If fired higher, the glazes retain their base colour but with increased crystal movement.

Use a soft fan brush to apply the first two or three coats and to apply the final coat which should include crystals
