Copper Penny Mayco Raku Glaze

Copper Penny develops a bright glossy copper finish with various iridescent shades of blue and purple following a proper raku firing. Due to the unpredictable nature of this firing technique, results will vary with every firing.

Mayco Raku glazes are designed to develop beautiful metallic lusters and crackle patterns when fired according to raku firing processes. Raku glazes will not produce the same results in a typical electric firing – must encounter a raku environment.
