Ceramic Sealer
Ceramic sealer is a liquid silicon dioxide which can be applied to all unglazed, stable, porous surfaces; bisque ware, vitrified ceramic ware, fired clay bodies (pit, smoke, saggar, barrel, naked raku) to create an invisible, protective barrier against moisture.

Rigidiser

An inorganic liquid hardening agent for ceramic fibre blanket and board. It produces a hard surface finish with increased resistance to mechanical abrasion and to gas flow erosion. Hardener can be applied by brushing, spraying or dipping.

The number denotes the concentration of ratio of chemical to water. The higher the number, the more concentrated the product. For example 75s is around half the concentration of 140s.

Spectrum High Fire Mender
Spectrum’s mending paste is a ceramic slip based mender, which when applied to either bisque or greenware, and fired to earthenware or stoneware temperatures will harden for a permanent fix.
Cover both broken surfaces using a brush, hold together allowing the slip to dry and harden. Then fire to the appropriate temperature.
Non-toxic and lead free, therefore suitable for dinnerware.
