Rectangular Kiln Shelves - Cordierite

Made from cordierite, these shelves can withstand temperatures up to 1300 degrees C.

For kilns. The lifespan of a kiln shelf depends mainly on the distance between the top edge of the item to be fired and the underside of the kiln shelf above. Generally there should be a distance of at least 25mm.

* Please note all new batts should be separted and dried slowing over several hours. Do not exceed 110 degrees C until completely dry. Rapid heating of wet kiln furniture may result in cracking or sudden fragmentation.
