The Small Pottery Wheel Lite
Description
The one and only Small Pottery Wheel, improved and better than ever.
This tiny but mighty pottery wheel does it all - it has incredibly strong torque, even when throwing large amounts of clay, a large aluminium wheel head, a removable collector tray for easy cleaning, variable speeds that can spin in both directions, and best of all it comes in 3 beautiful colours!
We have redesigned this corded iteration of our classic beloved wheel to be larger and stronger. The wheel head is now 10cm wide and the motor can easily handle 500 grams of clay, making it the perfect wheel for home use, studio use or to keep for on-the-go!
This small pottery wheel has been a labour of love from two very dedicated potters, in our pursuit to create the best mini pottery wheel for all the pottery lovers out there! It is made by us in the UK, using 3D printing PETG plastic to create the body, batts and drip collector trays.
With this purchase you will receive:
- The Small Pottery Wheel (with drip collector tray)
- A printed guide on how to use your wheel, tips & tricks and how to care for your wheel
- Power supply (in either UK, USA, EU or Australia adaptor) with cord
PLEASE NOTE:
- This version does not have a battery inside and is powered by a cord.
- Due to the nature of 3D printing, there will always be small surface textures and imperfections in the plastic, but these have no effect on the usability and function of the wheels.
This product is not a toy and is for use by people 12 years and older.
F.A.Q
How much clay can I throw on the Small Pottery Wheel?
You can throw from a pea-sized amount of clay all the way up to 350g of clay on our wheel. It is designed for throwing small shapes however, so any more than this might damage the motor!
What kind of clay can I use on the Small Pottery Wheel?
You can use any type of clay! For beginners who don't have access to a kiln, try using air drying clay, and for those wanted to use regular clay we would recommend a smooth clay like Draycott White Stoneware, Studio White Earthenware, or Harry Fraser Porcelain.
How big are the batts?
Each batt is 7.5cm wide (3 inches)
What is the power and the wattage of the Small Pottery Wheel?
Our wheel runs on 12V, 3amp and is 35W. We supply power packs with each wheel that has the correct plug for the country it is being shipped to.
