Spectrum’s 1209 Black Glaze cone 9/10 (1224°c-1305°c)  is a staple high fire black glaze. This lead free, A/P non-toxic and dinnerware safe glaze gives a glossy, opaque finish at cone 9/10. This glaze is the perfect consistency for brushing on, we suggest 1 or 2 coats.
