Chalkboard Glaze is a unique non-toxic Specialty Glaze that creates the look and feel of a real slate chalkboard in a fired on finish that can be written on with chalk over and over. Application: Apply to properly fired shelf cone 04 bisque Apply a minimum of 3 smooth even coats using a Soft Fan Brush Apply in one direction to avoid streaks Fire to shelf cone 06 A higher firing will result in a gloss finish Notes: Masking Tape or AC-303 Liquid Mask can be used to block off chalkboard area If finish becomes glossy, simply just apply 1-2 additional coats and re-fire to a cone lower Stroke & Coat colors can be applied over the Chalkboard Glaze for design work Can be sponged on for a textured finish
