LEAD BISILICATE
Lead Bisilicate fritting involves the melting together of glaze materials (some of which are soluble in water or stomach acids) to produce a combination which is insoluble (or relatively so).
Lead bisilicate is the frit generally used in low solubility glazes and standard borax frit for leadless glazes.
