High quality, very smooth earthenware body. Low flux content gives a better glaze pick- up and enables use at higher temperatures than other reds. Excellent at 1100-1240degC and can be used as a red stoneware body. Throws well, with good resilience. Turns nicely. Outstanding yet inexpensive.Smooth Texture. Light Rustic Red.

When fired to 1250c in an electric kiln colour is closer to that of Cadburys (milk) Chocolate 30th Mar, 2012
