Information

BOTZ Schmelzpunktsenker 9800 is added to BOTZ Steinzeug to reduce the melting point to 1120°C. Ad 10g melting point reducer (for some colours 5g) to 100g of stoneware glaze, stir well, apply in 2–3 layers and fire at approx. 1150°C with a 30 min soak. With slight colour deviations, you will achieve a high surface quality. Single firing is possible. Rule of thumb: add 3 spoons of melting point reducer to one 200 ml container of glaze

(for 9870, 9873, 9898 and 9899 just 1.5 teaspoons)
